You could get teas: peppermint, green, or chia. Also, you could make plastic spoons dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with nuts, sprinkles or little candies. They are great for coffee stirrers.

A picture frame so they can add a photo of family. Socks to keep their feet warm (cute ones). Manicure stuff like files and clippers and some hand lotions and maybe fingernail polish. hair clippys, room spray or air fresheners, hospitals don’t smell great.
