   Re-gift if you like but I would check into it to see if it is a decent bottle. It may be sending the wrong message about you. If it is no good then cook with it. Make a nice white wine reduction…all the alcohol will evaporate so if that is okay with you…

   I think regifting it is your best bet. I agree, make sure the original giver is not there.
   Other than that, you could use it for cooking.
   Maybe a local charity near you could use it?

   Sure! Re-gifting is fine, just as long as you know the orginal person who gave it to you isn’t there.
   Also you can use it in cooking, with some white pasta sauces.

   Regifting in this instance is fine. Sure, give it to the host. Just make sure that the person who gave you the gift basket isn’t at the party.

   Sure, give it to the host. It’s not a problem to re-gift. It’ll actually be cheaper for you than to have to buy something else.

   Christmas will be over by next week. But if you mean this week, then yes give them the wine as a gift.
